“Split” was the main character that plays role throughout the design

of Phoenix park pavilion. This was located in the heart of downtown

Lexington, KY. The location usually packed with activities, from charity

to local events where the gatherings happen in the city. Stores, public

library, and human habitat also surrounded the park which helps create

the relationship between the environment and human to build a stronger

boundaries so it becomes a one society where everything happen in

one place. The design of this pavilion focuses on human activities.

Relaxation, temporary habitat that create a “getaway” from the noise

create from the city is what this pavilion was aiming for.
